🎯Duplicate Rentals and Events
Whenever you create a duplicate of a Rental/Event, potential changes to settings and rates may occur based on the information you input for the new Rental/Event as compared to the original one.
Note: once the duplicate action is submitted there is not a way to reverse it.
There are three things you might observe when duplicating a new Rental/Event:
If you modify the booking duration to be longer or shorter than the original, Gazebo will retain the rate settings for meals, meetings, and recreation from the previous booking and apply them to the new date range. Invoice lines will be adjusted to match the new duration.
If you use the invoicing tab to change the prices for housing, activities, or meals to something different from the original, the duplicate will return to the original rate.
In the duplicate, all documents and contracts will automatically return to being hidden in the Organizer Portal.
When adjusting the booking duration, and if the original booking includes BOTH matching booking length and unmatched booking length Attendee Types with Rates, there's a risk of encountering duplicated line items in the invoice tab of the new booking.
